Cutting glass

A Cocktailglass designed for Bombay Saphire,

Blowing glass means to manufacture glass articles by blowing air into a red-hot treacly made glass, due to this a glass bulb originates. This bulb is the basis of the glass and may be in a different form each time. As soon as there is a nice bulb the glass-blower pushes the upside back with a cone, this is how the inner form of the cocktail glass comes to existence. After the glass has cooled down the bottom will be cut-off so it can stand and the upper part will be cut-off so you can easily drink from the glass. There is air in-between the inner and outer form of the glass to prevent the cocktail from warming up if you take it in your hands.
