Bend

An important property of plywood is flexibility. I used this property in the design of the chair. You need a mould to bend plywood. In my design the mould stays in the chair. Because of that, you can see the tension which is necessary to bend plywood. The back of the seat is the place where the plywood appears out of the mould, it goes all the way around the mould and disappears at the same point as where it begun. The strength of the chair is gained by bending the plywood. The chair stays together by the rope which you see on the side.
